This is a site dedicated to traditional music sessions in Scotland. We hope that it will appeal to players of traditional music who want to know where they can get a tune, or to people who want to listen to traditional music in an informal setting.
It is hosted by Sandy Mathers, Fiddle player, composer and veteran of many a good session. Sandy was born in Angus and cut his musical teeth in the world famous Foundry Bar sessions in Arbroath. Since then he has played in sessions all over Europe. At present the site does have an east of scotland bias, help us to change that!!
