Down at the the Foundry Bar in Arbroath with the late Geordie Muir (in the grey jumper). Geordie played with Jimmy Shand for some years and was a profoundly influential player and teacher of the fiddle in the North Angus area. He played for many years in the "Anderson Band" with Jim Birse, pictured here on the 3-row box. Local worthy Derek "Fireman" Fowler on the right of the picture. A reminder of some great nights!! This picture also dates from the early '90's. |
